Steven Weber
stars with an ensemble cast that includes Chris
Elliott ("There's Something About
Mary"), Amy Pietz (NBCís "Caroline
in the City") and Wendell Pierce (NBCís
"Third Watch") in an off-center comedy about
a cheerful ad executive whose fast-track life is
suddenly derailed by what he thinks may be a
mysterious hex.
Already successful at
work, Chicagoan Jack Nagle (Weber) takes his
bachelorís life in easy stride until he agrees to a
blind date with a woman who casts a bizarre curse on
him - unbeknownst to Jack. As a bewitched and
bewildered Nagle vainly tries to regain his grip on
life, he canít help but ponder what calamity could
have turned everything upside down. He solicits help
from his sympathetic ex-girlfriend Melissa (Pietz),
his freeloading doctor-buddy Larry (Elliott) and
Wendell (Pierce), his affable co-worker whoís always
unlucky in love.
