Based on Drew
Carey's own humorous outlook on life, this lovable comedian
and author has inspired a fast-paced comedy depicting the life
of a single "every guy" who's just trying to have
some fun along the way.
Drew's social circle consists of three best friends and, to
his regret, an office foe named Mimi Bobeck, who is a non-stop
source of aggravation at the Winfred-Louder department store.
Since its premiere, The Drew Carey Show has mastered the art
of innovative comedy with trend-setting dance sequences and
ground-breaking episodes including everything from special
effects to animation. During the series' debut season, Drew
Carey was awarded a People's Choice Award for Best Actor in a
New Series.
The Drew Carey Show premiered on September 13, 1995.
