Visitor Experience:
"Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?"
June 29, 2001

I wrote for tickets and was quite surprised how quickly they came.
We arrived at the studio at 1:10 pm --- there were already about 50 people
in line.

At 2:00 pm a woman came out and repeatedly told us until you are actually
inside the studio, there is no guarantee that you will get in --- now I know why she
repeated that --- there were 100 people who had special VIP tickets --- they
went in first and only 60 of us slobs who stood outside for 2 hours in 90+ degree
heat got in.   There were almost 75 people on line behind me who were sent away.

She wrote a number on our cards, in the order in which we were on line ---
and were told to return at 3:00 --- then we stood for another hour until we
got in.

The show was fun --- it lasted 1 hour 15 minutes.

I'd never go again in JUNE or JULY or AUGUST --- too hot to stand outside for
2 hours and still not be guaranteed admission!
