Yes, most shows have a minimum age to attend which is usually 18 years old.  Some shows have age restrictions as low as 8 years old and as high as 21 years.

Are these age restrictions strictly enforced?

This depends on the show.  Typically the more popular shows are more strictly enforced.  Some shows will be lenient within 2 years of the age restriction.  If the show doesn't say "strictly enforced", typically it is not strictly enforced.

Here are some examples of age restrictions:

• 8 years
  children shows
• 10-12 years
  game shows
• 16 years
  some sitcoms and some talk shows (including Leno)
• 18 years
  most all sitcoms and most talk shows
• 21 years
  some sitcoms and talk shows
